Lifestyle related non-communicable diseases are one of the large societal challenges that the Baltic Sea Region faces, and prevention and promotion of a healthy lifestyle are the most effective and cost-saving ways of tackling this challenge.

BaltCityPrevention will develop and test a model that helps public health authorities in prevention intervention planning. The other aims of the project are to involve eHealth technologies in the planning and implementation of the intervention and to foster cooperation between public health authorities and small and medium-sized enterprises. BaltCityPrevention has 15 project partners from six Baltic Sea region countries.
